2018 Community Service Awards

​Volunteer of the Year – Dan Swanson donated numerous days rototilling our gardens and used his equipment on countless occasion to move donated items to Camp Alma.

​Volunteer of the Year – Renard Wiseman participated at every work party event and then some. Renard always showed up with friends and family and worked on the toughest projects! Camp Alma would not be where are without his dedication!

​Special Recognition Award – These are the ladies of The Sewing Room. They have sewn over two dozen quilts for use by our veterans at Camp Alma! They were able to re-use jean material left at the old camp to create the most beautiful quilts! These women just amaze me.

Special Special Recognition Award – This is Joyce Campbell, the ring leader at The Sewing Room. She did a wonderful job of coordinating these quilts and came to tour at Camp Alma!
