Executive Director
General Requirements:
This individual, preferably a Veteran of the United States Military, will have experience with administrative supervision of a multi-faceted organization with evolving goals and, ideally, non-profit exposure as well. The candidate should be facile in employee/volunteer management and cognizant of applicable workplace rules and regulations from all levels of oversite. As the primary representative of the organization, the candidate should be very comfortable with communicating the mission, goals, and needs of Veterans Legacy to a variety of different forums. The candidate should be experienced with financial oversite of organizations and general business mechanisms. Most importantly, the candidate needs to have the desire and motivation to help Veterans achieve their place as productive citizens in the community.
Specific Expectations:
1. Be experienced with interfacing with the Veterans Administration system both administratively and at a pragmatic level.
2. Able to mold the organization into a smooth running business operation over time with special attention to creating a solid financial basis.
3. Create 1 year, 3 year, and 5 year business plans in tandem with the Board of Directors.
4. Display facility in interacting with the Board of Directors individually and as a whole.
5. Have experience in overseeing grant writing efforts to the best advantage for Veterans Legacy.
6. A primary endeavor will be to aggressively pursue fund raising efforts. This may be manifested by personal interaction with donors/groups, helping to create fund raising campaigns, and using social media avenues at the most effective level.
7. Feel comfortable with and frequently interact with Veterans at Camp Alma.
8. Espousing the potential for new approaches to therapy for Veterans with mental health and substance abuse issues.
9. Develop relationships with the various Veteran related resources in the community, region, and State with the end goal of how can Veterans Legacy best use the resources available to benefit a Veteran to achieve the best result.
10. Move toward making Veterans Legacy a primary clearinghouse for helping to move a Veteran through the system even if that Veteran may not be directly under the auspices of Veterans Legacy.
11. Above all, be a beacon of advocacy for changing current paradigms and altering the suicide rate and multiple issues encountered by our Veterans after discharge.
Salary will be determined commensurate with experience level.

Camp Alma Supervisor
The position of Camp Alma Supervisor, military Veteran preferred, will involve functioning in a number of diverse capacities. Major focus on facility management is expected but given the ongoing interaction with resident Veterans the capability to observe and report on overall function for use in clinical assessment will be required as well. Given the significant evolutionary trajectory of Camp Alma, this individual will need to be creative and flexible in reassessing planning, budgeting, and adept with people management skills. Representing Veterans Legacy both at Camp Alma, community resource interfaces, and social events will be required as well.
Duties:
1. Responsible for general oversite of activities of Veterans on campus assuring participation in scheduled endeavors, coordinating transportation needs for in-town appointments, and safety of individuals on campus.
2. Supervisor will generate work, therapy, transportation schedules for the following day.
3. Will work with staff to keep ongoing records of each Veterans progress while on campus.
4. Will participate in scheduled staff meetings, usually on a bi-weekly basis.
5. Be available for general counseling of Veterans as needed.
6. Be responsible for touring any visitors who may visit Camp Alma.
7. Oversee staff as needed.
8. Assemble purchase orders in concert with staff and arrange order of supplies as needed.
9. Report to the Board of Directors at monthly meetings and as needed.
10. Arrange for any minor repairs to be completed and notify the BOD of perceived major repair needs.
11. Have excellent IT capabilities to function as administrative assistant to the Executive Director/Board of Directors.
